وسيكون موقعه في جزيرة شيبارة غير المأهولة، على بعد 45 دقيقة بالقارب من البر الرئيسي.

وفقًا للمطورين، يعد الموقع موطنًا لبيئة متنوعة للغاية مع أشجار المانغروف الكثيفة والنباتات الصحراوية والشواطئ ذات الكثبان الرملية البيضاء والمسطحات المرجانية والعشب البحري.

ويقولون أيضًا إنها موطن لبعض أجمل الشعاب المرجانية في العالم وتستضيف العديد من أنواع الطيور والأسماك والحيوانات البحرية الأخرى.

ويقول المصممون إن الهدف الأساسي للمشروع هو أفضل السبل للحفاظ على التنوع البيولوجي في البيئة المحيطة وتعزيزه، مع تقديم تجربة فاخرة تجذب الزوار من جميع أنحاء العالم.

وقد وصلت أولى فيلات الفندق فوق الماء إلى منطقة البحر الأحمر السياحية هذا الشهر، ومن المقرر تركيب 73 فيلا منها قبل يوم الافتتاح.

وقال جون باجانو، الرئيس التنفيذي لشركة البحر الأحمر العالمية: “نحن نرحب بمستقبل السياحة في المملكة العربية السعودية .

“هذه الأجرام السماوية التي يعود تاريخها إلى الفضاء هي الدفعة الأولى من 73 فيلا فوق الماء لمنتجع شيبارة الشهير في البحر الأحمر .”

يعد الفندق بقيادة الطريق في مجال التكنولوجيا الخضراء باعتباره مشروعًا خارج الشبكة وبدون طاقة ومياه.

وقد تم تصميمه من قبل شركة Killa Design، التي أنشأت أيضًا متحف المستقبل في دبي .

وسيتم تزويد شيبارة بالطاقة بالكامل من خلال مزرعة للطاقة الشمسية في الموقع، في حين سيتم توفير المياه العذبة من خلال محطة تحلية المياه الخاصة بالمنتجع، والتي ستكون أيضاً تعمل بالطاقة الشمسية .

إلى الشمال من الموقع توجد فيلات الشعاب المرجانية المائية وفيلات الشاطئ والمطعم المميز، وكلها على “جزر صغيرة هادئة”.

يؤدي الممر الجنوبي إلى فيلات البحيرة وتجربة سبا فريدة من نوعها مع حمام سباحة ومرافق للياقة البدنية.

في الطرف الغربي من الردهة، يمكن للضيوف الوصول إلى المرافق الترفيهية الخارجية، مثل الشاطئ والملاعب الرياضية ومركز الغوص والغطس للضيوف .

According to the developers, the site is home to a highly diverse environment with dense mangroves, desert flora, white sand dunes beaches, coral flats and sea grass.

They also say it is home to some of the most beautiful and pristine coral reefs in the world hosting many species of birds, fish and other marine animals.

The designers say that the primary goal of the project is how best to preserve and enhance the biodiversity in the surrounding habitat, while offering a luxurious experience that will attract visitors from around the globe.

Part of the aim is to “rebrand Saudi Arabia as a top tier marine eco-tourism destination”.

The first of the hotel’s overwater villas arrived at the Red Sea tourism spot this month, with 73 of them to be installed before opening day.

Red Sea Global’s CEO John Pagano said: “We are welcoming the future of tourism to Saudi Arabia.

“These space-aged orbs are the first batch of 73 overwater villas for our iconic Sheybarah Resort at The Red Sea.”

The hotel promises to lead the way in green technology as an off-grid, zero-energy and zero-water development.

It has been designed by company Killa Design, who also created the Museum of the Future in Dubai.

Sheybarah will be powered entirely by an on-site solar farm, while fresh water will be supplied by the resort’s own desalination plant, which will also be solar powered.

The island will also have its own recycling plant, to reduce the need to bring materials to the island and minimise waste.
